Texas Border’s Bar & Grill recently opened a location across the street from us and we couldnโt be more excited. Whether youโre grabbing lunch or swinging by for dinner, this is a great option for all types of braces!ย Remember, with metal and clear braces, you will want to stick to foods that are soft and easy to chew. Our meal recommendation is a fried pickle appetizer with Joโs Spicy Gumbo. Don’t forget the Texas Borders Root Beer Float for dessert!ย
2. Pearl & Vine
We recommend Pearl & Vine for a place to take clients, meet up for a girlโs night, or celebrate a special occasion. Remember, braces patients: cut your steak or chicken into bite-size pieces before chewing!ย
3. Texas Roadhouse
Texas Roadhouse is a place the family will love! Both our metal and clear braces patients will find many yummy options. The great news is that the rolls and cinnamon butter are fair game! Our braces patients need to skip the croutons, toasted bread, and ribs. Other options like baked potatoes, boneless wings, and shrimp are great!
4. Culver’s
We couldnโt help but include Culverโs! (located in Fulshear, Texas, on the outskirts of Katy, TX.) Whether youโre looking for a good meal or a delicious dessert, Culvers has you covered. Their menu items are awesome for all types of braces!ย
5. Howdy Homemade
One of KCC Orthodonticโs favorite dessert spots in Katy is Howdy Homemade! Not only is the ice cream fantastic, but the company is incredible too! Howdy Homemade often partners with KCC Orthodontics. We are grateful to have them in our community.
6. Crumbl
Crumbl is in Cinco Ranch, Texas. Their cookies are a great option for all braces patients because they are soft and gooey. These cookies are friendly to your brackets and wonโt pop them off the way crunchy cookies do. Additionally, Crumbl is a Katy ISD partner which is awesome too!
7. Cocohodo

One of the best places to visit in Katy, Texas that will be friendly to your braces is Typhoon Texas Waterpark. It is a blessing to have a waterpark so close to home!

Did you know Momentum Indoor Climbing is down the street from KCC Orthodontics? If youโre looking for a more active entertainment option, this is the place for you! Enjoy a class or freestyle climbing at this gym.
10. Wildcatter Saloon
For live music entertainment in Katy, TX, we recommend Wildcatter Saloon! They have a food truck that comes out and serves amazing tacos!! There are other items on the menu as well- stick to the soft items. We recommend checking them out. Thereโs no doubt youโll enjoy good food and good music!
Our Invisalign patients have it easy! Remove your aligners, store them in the case, and enjoy whatever food your heart desires.
