With the coming of cooler weather and the changing of seasons, October is many people’s favorite month. At KCC Orthodontics, we love October for other reasons besides the fall festivities. October is National Orthodontic Health Month! We’re proud to be celebrating the awareness of oral hygiene with the Katy, Fulshear, and Houston community.

Every October, orthodontic practices like us and the American Association of Orthodontists work together to put in extra effort to promote oral health. Our focus is on spreading good oral hygiene tips to our Katy, Fulshear, and Houston communities. Caring about your smile is important for all ages and promotes a healthy lifestyle. By taking care of your oral health, you’re also taking care of other aspects in your life. Oral health could be a contributing factor to various problems such as:

  • Sleep issues
  • TMJ
  • Gum disease
  • Bad breath
